Via autobahn A2 from Berlin or Hanover:

1. Take the exit 70 "Magdeburg-Zentrum" southwards onto the B189.
2. Take the exit "Albert-Vater-Straße" eastwards onto the B1 (directions "Dessau", "Burg", "Zentrum").
3. Stay on the B1 until you reach the Universitätsplatz (a large traffic circle), do not drive through the tunnel underneath it.
4. Drive through 3/4 of the traffic circle, then turn off onto "Gareisstraße".
5. At the first traffic light, turn right onto "Henning-von-Tresckow-Straße".

Via autobahn A14 from Leipzig:

1. Take the exit 105 "Magdeburg-Sudenburg, Zentrum" northwards onto the B81/B71.
2. Take the exit "Albert-Vater-Straße" eastwards onto the B1 (directions "Dessau", "Burg", "Zentrum").
3. Stay on the B1 until you reach the Universitätsplatz (a large traffic circle), do not drive through the tunnel underneath it.
4. Drive through 3/4 of the traffic circle, then turn off onto "Gareisstraße".
5. At the first traffic light, turn right onto "Henning-von-Tresckow-Straße".

Via B1 from the east:

1. Stay on the B1, cross both bridges across the Elbe.
2. At the second traffic light after the bridges, turn right onto "Pfälzer Straße".
